We are all lead to believe that we all have a soulmate. And that is true. We all do have a soulmate. But the really shitty part about that is we don't always meet them in every life. Stuff gets in the way. Culture or even personal issues.
Some people say we have more then one soulmate...I would really love to challenge them on that..but, sadly enough, I could be wrong, even though my personal opinion is that we only have one. I firmly believe that and will continue to believe that until proven otherwise.
There are souls out there, that we meet, that are close to the equivalent of a soulmate. Just not a technical soulmate. To me, a soulmate is the yin to your yang.
The souls that are almost equivalent to a soulmate is just a soul that is highly compatible with yours.
A good example that may make you understand is this. A happily married couple that have been married for lets say...25 years. But the husband passes away. And after the widow moves on and copes with her grief, meets a nice gentleman, falls in love, marries and they are together until 'death do us part' once more. Situations like that. Does that make it easier to understand?
And some people say the more lives you experience with a soul, the more compatible they are with you until they are compatible enough to be your 'soulmate'...Nuh uh. If that is the case...then my mom is my soulmate >.>...We have had many lives together as mother and daughter. So that should mean we should have evolved to that status by now right?
And when soulmates meet, it is a uniquely individual experience. It is not the same for everybody. Some experience an immediate connection, and other experience,well, nothing. It is highly individual.
And before I mentioned some of the reasons why soulmates do not meet. Cultural reasons being some cultures do not believe in destiny. Arranged marriage is another. Though I had heard of some of those situations that soulmates have met that way. And the personal issues. Putting up blocks. It's hard to explain. You let them pass you by. You need to figure out what you want from life and the opportunity will come. Some people let the opportunity pass them by and I'm all like "GAH!!!!!" and then there are those who have the opportunity, but are so very close to letting it pass them by. I feel like shouting "Get yur heads outta the clouds!!" because they are lucky enough to have the opportunity in this life, and they are so close to letting it go by. They are usually all like, 'welllllll.....tralalala'. Get's me frustrated.
